On Quality-oriented Education in English Teaching in Primary Schools
Abstract:The education in primary schools aims to improve pupils’ quality , and also to promote our comprehensive social development and progress of the foundation works. The core of the current primary and secondary education is to lay the implementation of quality education on the way . With the development of our society, the quality of education is raised. It reflects a distinct concept of the humanities. With a rich social, economic and cultural development, our society requires the reform of education. It is proposed that the implementation of quality-oriented education is in a more profound and more important position to the social backgrounds. Basic education, English education is an important element. Therefore, teachers also shoulder the responsibility of implementation of quality education. English language teaching with the quality-oriented education can achieve the changes. And it puts in front of many of our English teachers towards a major task.

二、注重啟發式教學 “由于長期受‘應試教育’的影響,教師和學生都一味地追求高分數,甚至有時違背了語言學習的規律。教師上課多數情況下采用的是‘注入’式教學,這種教學嚴重妨礙了學生自主學習能力的形成”②。“一個學生如果沒有自學能力。就談不上學習上的主動性和創造性,也談不上自我發展。這就要求英語教師既要重視語言知識的教學,更要注重對學生學習方法的指導,使學生能獨立運用一定的學習方法,獨立思考獲取知識,獨立發現問題而不靠‘注入’那么要做到這一點,英語教師就要幫助學生正確地認識自我,增強參與意識,積極主動地投身到學生的實踐中去”③,采用啟發式教學。啟發式教學不是一種具體的教學方法,而是一種重要的教學原則和教學方法體系的指導思想。是講授法,問答法等多種教學方法的載體,它應貫穿課堂教學的全過程。目前,在英語課堂教學中,明智的做法是:以學生為主體,發揚民主教學,培養學生對學習英語的濃厚興趣,激發學生的求知欲。在課堂上教師應精講多練,畫龍點睛,舉一反三,聽,說,讀,寫四種能力全面發展。如學習現在進行時態,教師先準備幾張簡筆畫并分別寫出He is reading.
