1.Introduction

China is a country with long history and vast territory, which makes her rich in tourism resources. With the development of economy and public transportation, more and more Chinese begin to travel aboard, at the same time, more and more foreigners come to travel China, The translation of scenic spots is necessary to promote and introduce local cultural and natural scenery to foreign tourists ,which could help them to fully understand local culture and history. English, as the most widely used language, plays an important role in the publication. English version scenic spots introduction is important for foreign travelers to enjoy our history and culture. It requires the translation to be loyal to the characteristics of the attractions and culture to let foreign tourists accurately and comprehensively understand the content and well accept the meaning.

2.Research Object

Compare the difference between Chinese and English version introduction of scenic spots , to find the best translation to attract foreigners and let them easily and fully understand the expression.

3.Analysis of the text type of tourist scene

The translation of texts about scenic attractions is a practical style of translation, purpose and function based on the practical translation and  text express type have direct relation with its form and translation strategy. Different text types 

language characteristics focus on different things , To investigate the English translation of Chinese text of scenic spot expression, it is necessary to clarify the type and function of the contents, we should fully understand the intended purpose of translation. This is the common view of Scholars at home and abroad. both believed that the tourist test are designed to provide the general info about nature, geography, culture, customs and other aspects of the introduction of the scenic spots, this could raise up people's tourism motivation. On the other words, both the Chinese and English version introduction is to provide the general info to let traveler understand and attracted.

3.1.The language characteristics of Chinese and English scenic spot scene

The Chinese expression is flowery and the English expression is direct and lively. Chinese tourism text using beautiful words, with many modifications and tautology, the words emphasizing the beauty of the language; English version text  using concise, simple style and specific objective description words to descript.  Please take below sentence for example.

這段介紹美國大峽谷的文字一開始就環(huán)環(huán)相扣，文風質(zhì)樸，形象通俗，直觀明確，親切真實.  同時也將以梅州陰那山為例，文體以“文采濃郁，辭藻華麗”，行文工整，聲律對仗，文意夸張，達到音形意皆美，詩情畫意的盎然效果.
