I  literature review

 wuthering heights by Emily bronte is a love tragedy. Novel is with the concept of love and hate,and depict the tragic characters in a deformed society. Love tragedy,  both in wuthering heights, watching the movie or readING the novel wuthering heights, people will be shocked by pure strong love between them，This kind of love is powerful enough to through life and death, this also is the most impressive place for wuthering heights。Catherine eventually walked into the marriage, not love. Her choice is not out of the secular rules,she think marriage must be suitable, a marriage without love can be very happy. Catherine's choice of love, directly determines the heathcliff's love, in love, it also directly caused heathcliff's tragedy. This tragedy is the external factors, of course, heathcliff's own factors to this tragedy also has a certain influence. Personality tragedy, the hostess has a good figure and is also beautiful in the novel , but do not seem to belong to that period。But on the other hand, she also love heathcliff  , Catherine's soul is deeply in love with sith cliff, but she mistakenly choose marriage is her betrayal of his life. After heathcliff's Revenge  , don't eat and drink, still die with love for Catherine, this is the tragedy of heathcliff.

The tragedy of wuthering heights is essentially inevitable haggard with order collision, highlight the love tragedy of two characters. heathcliff's tragedy is that it is not rational, he always think that love is immortal. His love to her goes beyond reality. I  introduction

The author of WutheringHeights is the famous British poet and a novelist Emily Bronte (1818-1848) EmilyBronte in the nineteenth century .The writer spent 30 years in the world only then quietly left the world。It should be said that she was a poet first, have written some very deep lyric,

Including the epic and short poems。Some has been selected as The first-class English poems in the 19th century and the twentieth century。However, her only novel wuthering heights has established her status in English literature and world literature history.

II  tragedy

Mr lockwood visits wuthering heights, in 1801,I have just returned from a visit to my landlord, Mr Heathcliff. I am delighted with the house I am renting from him. Thrushcross Grange is miles away from any town or village.That suits me perfectly. And the scenery here in Yorkshire is so beautiful. On the night of wuthering heights, I had a strange dream。。

The next day, Mr lockwood came to thrushcross grange，I asked his housekeeper about this thing。She tells me about wuthering heights。

Wuthering heights has a history of 300 years，The previous owner picked up a gipsy child，he is Heathcliff. After the death of the owner，

He was bullied by the son of the owner。The master's daughter fell in love with him。When heathcliff and Catherine grow up，catherine married the son of thrushcross granges owner。He received a big blow, away from home。A few years later, heathcliff, suddenly appeared in thrushcross grange, then he has grown into  handsome and very rich young man. Katherine gave birth to a daughter and is dead。Before she died they're crazy to hug, don't know is love each other or resentment. Many years later they were buried together。

III  cause of tragedy

When two people together, have deep feelings. He is a cheerful child since childhood, because later suffered emotional betrayal, led to the distortion of the personality, lead to the final tragedy.

Iv conclusion

Love is not always happiness,  people in love may not always be kind to each other. In wuthering heights, the main reason for the separated lovers comes from themselves。The characters in this story, like those in the real world, there are weaknesses，These weaknesses caused their misfortune
