Abstract: Reading teaching is an important and necessary component of English teaching in senior middle school, and English reading is essential for the command of this language. For a long time, under the influence of the traditional teaching methodologies, English teaching process is sentence-based. As a result, the students tend to ignore the learning, accumulating and applying of the schema knowledge, which is closely related to the reading materials. This paper summarizes the basic viewpoints of schema theory; and on the basis of the existing research and the circumstance of English reading teaching and learning in senior middle school, it further inquire into the significance of application of this theory in English reading teaching and learning, in hope of helping the students to use this theory properly and improve their English reading efficiency and their level of English. Applying schema theory scientifically is very useful and helpful both to English reading teaching and English learning.

如何運用“圖式”理論指導高中英語閱讀教學
摘 要:閱讀教學是高中英語教學的重要組成部分。英語閱讀對學好英語非常重要。但長期以來,由于受傳統教學法的影響,不少教師對閱讀理解的錯誤認識導致了許多高中生只重視詞、句、語法等語言知識的學習,而忽視了與閱讀理解密切相關的背景知識的學習。那么如何更好地提高英語閱讀能力,取得更好的英語閱讀教學效果呢?運用“圖式”理論來指導英語閱讀教學不失為一劑良方。文章闡述了“圖式”理論的基本觀點,并在現有的研究成果基礎之上,結合當前高中英語閱讀教學的實際,分析和探討了“圖式”理論對高中英語閱讀教學的指導意義,進而指導學生正確地運用“圖式”理論,幫助他們提高英語閱讀效率、提升英語水平。正確運用“圖式”理論無論是對教師的英語教學還是對學生的英語學習都大有裨益。
