論浦在廷在宣威火腿業發展中的作用

 宣威火腿，中華三大名腿之一，以其色澤紅潤，味道咸甜適中可口而聞名天下。宣威火腿之所以有今天，應該說，浦在廷先生有著不可磨滅的功績。1909年，他籌組“宣和火腿有限公司”。1917年，鑒于宣威火腿支大色差、不便攜帶等情況，他創造性地開發宣威火腿罐頭產品，派人出國學技術并購進機器，于1918年以“云南宣和火腿罐頭有限公司”的商標，投產火腿罐頭，一度使宣和火腿罐頭名聲大震，遠銷海內外。創業十年，正是中國社會天翻地覆之年。外力入侵，軍閥混戰，官府盤剝，交通中斷，加之各種經營中的問題，1920年，宣和火腿罐頭公司破產。第一次破產后，浦在廷并不就此罷休。1921年，他重新自辦“大有恒”商號，用“浦在廷兄弟食品罐頭公司”的招牌，生產火腿罐頭，以背水一戰的決心，闖過重重難關，終于再造輝煌。1923年，廣州舉辦全國地方名特產品賽會，火腿罐頭榮獲金獎，孫中山特為火腿罐頭題字———“食德飲和”，宣威火腿罐頭從此名揚天下。然而好景不長，1925年，由于支持孫中山革命，浦在廷隨滇軍東下廣州，任駐粵滇軍軍需官。由于滇軍楊希閔等人陰謀反叛，以貪污之名，將浦在廷開除軍籍并將其入獄，同時席卷其全部經營所得。浦在廷第二次破產。出獄后，浦在廷重新返鄉，從四川賒布銷售，集資重辦“大有恒”火腿罐頭業務，并從此一直將公司經營到1949年。今天，浦在廷創辦的公司仍是宣威地區的骨干國有企業。
