With the development of computer technology and network, the virtual reality technology has become a new method with which human communicate with virtual environment that computer carry on in the 1990s. The panorama hypothesized campus not only causes users feeling experiences personally about campus landscape, each kind of facility and the service, but also make them use the partial facilities in the network and accept the service.
This article introduced the panorama hypothesized campus's concept, construction and realization. The paper introduced several kinds of realization methods commonly used in panorama hypothesized campuses, then constructed and realized Zhejiang science and technology University's panorama hypothesized campus. In the process, I referred to massively domestic and foreign methods with which realized the panorama hypothesized campus. The tool that manufactures pictures is panorama make and Photoshop. I have used the Dreamweaver software constructing the panorama hypothesized campus website, and used quicklime software realizing the panorama picture network browsing. In realization of virtual campus process, taking photography is important. So I discussed some skills of taking photos and some points that should be paid attention to. Then I choose 13 scenes such as Ximi west, Tingsong apartment and so on.
Panoramic virtual campus of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology will facilitate teachers and students on campus, and promote the building of the University and the development of distance learning. Therefore, the construction of the virtual campus is very necessary, but also more far-reaching significance.
